Highlighting 10 Years of Achievement

The Lightning Protection Institute Inspection Program (LPI-IP) began in 2011 with a small group of industry professionals and their desire for an alternative inspection and certification resource. They saw an opportunity to create program-wide efficiencies from initial inquiry to the inspected and certified project.

Michigan Lightning Protection, Inc. was the first contractor to experience the LPI Inspection Program advantage, applying for a Master Installation Certificate in February 2011 for its work on the Grand Valley State University Living Center in Allendale, Michigan. …

Certification Revision Addendums

Changes made to a lightning protection system after it has been inspected and certified can void LPI-Inspection Program certification. Address this by applying for an authorized Master Installation Certificate Revision addendum.

Submit up to three minimal revisions per system within 90 days of the original certificate issuance by completing this application and submitting it to info@lpi-ip.com….
